Well, now.

Wed Dec 17, 2008, 7:38 AM
I have been away for quite a while, haven't I? I apologize for my unnanounced hiatus- partly due to neglegence and partly due to studying (not for school, really, just memorizing everything available about the SAT and ACT). In any case, I have minimal writing done, though I do have a couple things to put up here. Nothing I mentioned in my revious journal worked out... Ahem, but, I do have some actual progress to be shown here now, however rough.

I'm trying to catch up on all of Evan's things; I skimmed through various profiles and read a new instalation in The Longest Roads, as well as a few short stories. (I'm glad to see he hasn't deteriorated, as it seems from my stuff that I am doing.)

In any case, a short poem and a first chapter/prologue (I haven't decided on which yet) are up, though hardly worthwhile. If you have ten minutes and a couple thousand brain cells to kill, you're welcome to it.

Would anybody still be at home around here?

Be who you are, and speak your mind, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
:icondoubletreble:
*cough*

It's possible.

I have to pull out my lighter and be like, "Who's the ice now, bitch?"
:iconintrocrat:
Ah! And just when I had all but given up hope. I cannot possibly tell you how pleased I am to know that you haven't been brutally murdered or some such. Have you moved onward to bigger and better things than dA, or has it just been a long time spent away? How have you been?

To be honest, it has been a huge creative block. I've managed to revise my fiction (first draft is now in scraps), though I have yet to decide whether I will be sharing it publicly or just send it to you for critiquing, so long as you have interest in it still.

I also have a portrait in the works. It started as a gift for a friend, so unfortunately the first draft may not be available to post here.

But! That's far more than enough about me. What have you been up to, friend?

Hmmm... Creative blocks are foul things. Of course I'm interested in the fiction - whether or not it goes public is completely up to you, but I'd love to take a peek at it.

Psh! There is never enough about you. Nonetheless.
Artistically, I have been as exciting as a morgue on Sunday. I've got three projects that exist but aren't going anywhere, partially because lately I've been too busy to do much of anything.
And spatiotemporally, I'm working in Japan, which is the business that keeps me from doing much of anything else. It is filled with the Japanese language, which makes things remarkably more difficult for one who has a limited understanding of it.

If I may ask, how did the SAT go? (Assuming you've taken it already, I'm rather hazy on the details of the whole affair.)
